SEATTLE FEST SERIES • SEATTLE, WASHINGTON
In 2017, KMP partnered with a new event production company called Cask Creek Productions. The CCP team had set out to produce a series of “micro festival” events that would bring the same excitement as major beer festivals, but limit the attendance to 500-1000 guests and create a specialty curated experience wherein they got the chance to spend more time with the breweries and immerse themselves in the experience. The series also showcased small Washington breweries looking for exposure and to connect directly with the avid brew lovers of the Seattle area.

If you can imagine being a small local brewery that is new to the scene, many of your ideal customers may have not heard of you yet. With 400 other breweries, it’s easy to get lost. Furthermore, with the crowded marketplace if have tried your beer, it’s probably only one variety they saw at a bar or restaurant that rotated you in. Unless they visit your brewery directly, there are no places to taste the entire lineup or get a feel for your full style.
That’s where Fest Series came in! 20 small brewers, 500 beer fanatics, local food vendors, games, entertainment…it was all set to benefit all involved.
KMP’s Founder and President, Andy Petek, is one of the owners of Cask Creek Productions, so our team was utilized in the entire operations of the business from concepting through execution.
In the first season of the Seattle Fest Series,
the KMP team was deployed to create all of the inside and outside sales promotion materials.

For the 2018 season, the team at Cask Creek decided to team with a new set of partners to produce more events and launch a second series in Bellevue, Washington called Bellevue Taste Series. The sister program to Seattle Fest Series, BTS was a lineup of tasting events that highlighted distilleries and wineries instead of beer and cider. The events were held in an office building in downtown Bellevue and catered to a more upscale crowd. Non-profit partnerships were created and logistical infrastructure built to allow the beverage companies to sell their product at the events.
The Cask Creek team decided to take a year off in 2019 and 2020 got cancelled due to Covid-19. That said, we continue to work with various partners on events and programs with local businesses both in-person and virtually. Future events in Seattle, Bellevue, Boulder and Denver are in the mix!
